Hand-bound with a hand-marbled paper cover and hand-embroidered images. This artist book merges the worlds of poetry and embroidery. Both of these disciplines have inherent patterns and follow underlying codes. This book couples instructions on how to read poetry and patterns for embroidery stitches. Additionally, poems and embroidered artwork with missing parts are interspersed throughout. The reader is left to decipher the missing words of each poem and how each image was stitched.
